MEGGLE Cheese GmbH is Germany’s leading supplier of Emmental for trade and industry. We are the owner of the Aggenstein brand and produce Emmental as a private label or for further industrial processing. We look back on over 100 years of cheese tradition, offer a wide range of Emmental formats, and count the retail trade, food service, and bulk consumers as well as the hospitality and processing industry among our customers.
Good things are best created together. Numerous alpine dairies around Kempten in the Allgäu region also knew this when they joined forces in 1906 to form the Stegmann cheese dairy. The name soon became synonymous with the best Emmental cheese. A demand for quality that remains the top priority with every change to this day. With the takeover by MEGGLE GmbH & Co. KG in 2021, two Bavarian companies with a successful, decades-long history joined forces. With the rebranding of Stegmann Emmentaler Käsereien GmbH as MEGGLE Cheese GmbH in March 2022, the company will continue to move forward stronger than ever.
